About DPR

We are a small, friendly group of runners, meeting twice a week near Dulwich Park in South East London.

We have a membership of approximately 150, covering all ages and split equally between men and women. We are based at the Trevor Bailey Sports Club, which is situated on Dulwich Common, opposite Dulwich Park (see where we are). Facilities are good, including showers, toilets and a private bar.

Please browse through the pages on our Website, and we hope to see you down at the club this coming Tuesday or Thursday (Tuesday preferred for your first visit).

If you are a beginner or new to running we have an introduction course especially designed for you. Please see our Beginners page for more information and encouragement.

Your questions

I am a beginner.  What should I do?
Where are you based in London?
Do I have to join?
How far do you run?
What sort of people are members?
How do I contact you?

Meeting times

We meet every Tuesday and Thursday evening, meet at 7.40pm, running by 7.50pm.
Different groups of people run distances ranging from anywhere between 4 and 8 miles each night and at varying speeds. The distances are arranged informally on running nights. We have some good runners, who do everything from 5k races to 24 hour marathons! But most are normal mortals, just enjoying running in a friendly, informal atmosphere.
